#34 of 365 – “uncorrupt”

“uncorrupt”

I’m amazed at how social

my children can be

how their lives and life changes

seem to agree

they flourish, excel

where I fell pitifully short

they see clearly, and accept

where I chose to distort

they are beautiful,

and to this day, uncorrupt

I’d like to be like them

when I grow up
