#64 of 365 – “relentless”

despair comes quickly

like a sudden gust of rage

slamming me into my corner

as if thrown into a cage

it is relentless, my inability

to make things right

and endless are the murky clouds

that mangle up my sight

I pray for a lucid clearing

hoping the weather will finally turn

and usher in a new season

where lessons aren’t so hard to learn
