3 PTSD Haiku


“back home”

adrenaline surge

searing screams, bombs and M16s, but

his kids love fireworks




she trembled, sweating

elevator doors closed; he

looked like her rapist



“office space”

nothing above third

without fail, he takes the stairs

since the towers fell
