#107 of 365 – “a slow walk”

“a slow walk”

grace is a slow walk

over hot coals of emotion

an upturned chin

against the beating of destitution

a whisper of peace

on top of violent persecution

silence

in the center of raging commotion

steadfastness

in the face of one’s personal implosion

vision

during the thick and lasting darkness of depression

faith

on the tangled path of fear and confusion

and love

even when it doesn’t feel like the solution

Oh….soooo much to admire…as always! I would have liked to see “love” head one of the couplets, but I understand how difficult it is to love anything or anyone when one is in the depths of depression. Remember to smile…and remember that a new friend thinks you are very, very special. Ron xoxox

Thanks so much Ron! I made a tiny edit. And having a new friend does make me smile!
