#117 of 365 – “watered”

I sold a piece of art today

and stepped onto hallowed ground

where the luxury of purpose

and gratitude abound

I was pulled from bone dry shadows

to where the air is new

and watered by a rain

filled with contentment to imbue

I’ve lived so many days

deep in the swamplands of depression

that the gift of reaching another person

leaves me without adequate expression

CONGRATULATIONS, HON!! I’m reading this post on the reader @ 11:45 and it still hasn’t arrived by email. Who’s surprised?! Again, congratulations on the sale of a piece of art and on the cool poem announcing it!!
