#120 of 365 – “writer’s block”

“writer’s block”

I am worried that I’ve waited too late

to write anything worthwhile

ideas and words are in conflict

and unwilling to reconcile

they fight and blame each other

and want me to take a side

and then they pout and go quiet

as I step in to preside

I get annoyed and try to mediate

but they won’t hear my advice

and then they just go, leaving me here

as some sort of sacrifice

perhaps tomorrow they’ll come back

but till then, this will have to suffice

Doesn’t look like writer’s block to me. 🙂

Ohhh! You’re ALREADY weaving “worthwhile” and beautiful tapestries with your words. Don’t worry about the silent times…they are but for a season. 🙂
