#128 of 365 – 5 Haiku about kung fu

5 Haiku about kung fu

testing for black sash

intense six month process with

fifty year old knees

head gear, gloves; I throw

a mean hook; but secretly

cry when I get hit

fifty jumping kicks

with younger classmates; only

breathing I hear? mine.

building stamina

for black sash tests; feels good once

I’m done for the night

it’s time for testing

worried I’ll fail; remember

the little engine
