#131 of 365 – “magic passwords”

“magic passwords”

 

I battle constantly

to lift up out of the shadows

 

from nightmare-like hallways

never-ending and narrow

 

I run, but they stretch

back into the murk

 

where the torments that chase me

continue to lurk

 

I pray this is not some

dead-end I’ve begotten

 

but I see doors and windows

I can’t seem to open

 

with keys and locks

that appear to be broken

 

or perhaps magic passwords

that remain unspoken

((Went to bed thinking of this very intriguing poem and got back up a few minutes later to ponder it more, and the best I can do is to say to you that the night terrors, nightmares, bad dreams, doubts, the waking fears, and all the rest will be behind you “in due time…” I like the poem…but I want to LOVE it. Can you unlock some of the doors to it for me? *smile*))
