#147 of 365 – “convicted”

“convicted”

she is hurt

beyond measure

through and through

to her bones

disappointment

raining hard

like an avalanche

of stones

her core is shaken,

the ground

beneath her feet

a bed of ill

the air

inside her lungs

gone sour

and still

she was upended

by a storm

of biting judgments

and fury

that left

in its wake

a soul convicted

with no jury

Hi……if I’m right, I think I know a little of the story from her recent blog and can empathize with her. If I’m wrong, I can still tell you that the verses above are very moving and may help her find solace. I’m very sorry she, and you, are having to go through this pain.
