4 Haiku about my big sister Marsha Lynn Davison

so many hours

I spent with my big sister

only in my mind

we would never meet

her life, too big to contain

freedom, at three weeks

after she arrived

could she see, by her bedside

mother, till she died?

are you older, once

in the ether after you

die as a baby?

Oh, this is heart breakingly beautiful, and wistful.
