#211 of 365 – “something to borrow”

“something to borrow”

I stumble,

the past

tangled up

around my heels,

the future

crying out

so desperate

and lonely

for new

I want to curl up

in a yesterday

that had no tomorrow

just for a moment,

as if oblivion

were a place

to visit

or something

to borrow

Wow. I totally love the image of the Past tangled up around our heels–yep, that’s it exactly.
