#235 of 365 – “a tiny piece of water”

“a tiny piece of water”

am I mortal

my skin

merely a fading

coat

of arms

my life

a string

inside of torn up

fabric

no one darns

do my thoughts

roll under gravity

and get crushed

beneath

its weight

or soar

between

continuums

carving out

their fate

is my soul

a tiny piece

of water

falling

from the sky

or a gentle tear

of loveliness

immortal

in God’s

eye

Another “wowza”–I especially liked the first stanza, the “fading coat of arms”.
