#251 of 365 – “fog of silence”

“fog of silence”

I worry

about forgetting

as if it’s leading me

away

down a path

where I’ll be

disappeared

like whispers

in the fray

so many people

there already

walking circles

round the stone

of memory

that they leave behind

like bodies

turned to bone

I know

my muscles

will grow

mute

beneath

the clamoring

of time

but I pray

the fog

of silence

doesn’t lock

away

my mind

Wowza–my fave pic is, “where I’ll be disappeared like whispers in the fray”. And the image of people walking circles round the stone of memory…..so clear and eerie.
