5 Haiku about schools and churches

they practice new drills

locked doors, hiding places; in

case of a shooter

best friends, they just stood

trying to say goodbye; new

rules against hugging

trophies for winning

trophies for losing; trophies

for just showing up

in church for student

awards; I wonder, does God

hear better in there?

not sure it matters,

I’m Catholic; but just in

case, I prayed along

Well, I’m back. Like these. So— we remember we’re Catholic! Good sign.

Lotsa goodies here! “RWE” kinda stuff! *wink wink* If I had to put them in order of liking, it would be — First – #2, Second – #5,
    Third – #1, Fourth – #6, Fifth, #5. And Merle! “Loosing” s/b “Losing.”
What am I gonna do with you! 😛 — Ron —

Wow, this is so distressing, isn’t it–that they have to practice, in case of shooters, and they can’t hug. Makes me feel so hopeless–and yet I KNOW God is there, hearing and loving every one. Oh gosh, I’d better just turn in for the night. Catch you later, lovey.

Yeah…but I guess the good thing is, is that at least the young ones don’t know any different. I suppose it’s no worse than A-bomb drills in the 40’s…but oh, how the times they are-a-changin!” And love between friends will always find a way…rules or no rules! Thanks for the comments Starralee!
