#262 of 365 – “mosaic”

 “mosaic”

I am so unsure

of everything

I stumble

through the day

balling up words

that color

everything

a hesitant gray

I try to grab

for reds and purples

and yellows

in the weave

so the strings

of my existence

flash bright

what I conceive

but I fall

dormant,

inactive on a

colorless pier

till I splash down

into the mosaic

prayer that lifts me

from my

fear
