#263 of 365 – “tiptoes”

 “tip-toes”

we saved the world

from inside pillow forts

played championships

on mini basketball courts

he woke me

before dawn

to watch birds

in the yard

and gave me

his most

precious

Pokémon card

he was my little Batman

in his Batman clothes

but I blinked, and have to hug him

now from my tiptoes
