#268 of 365 – “hush”

“hush”

quiet

sifts through

the hours

like a sliver

of silk

floating

in and out

of thoughts

and conversations,

a drifting

hush

of sweet

solitude

in between

all the crashes

of loud

discontent

and the thumping

annoyances

of doubt

and regret

Nice! Reminds me of Emily Dickinson in your word choices.
