#270 of 365 – “deja vu”

 “déjà vu”

walking

into a peculiar

residual aura

beneath

a strange

note from

yesterday’s

song,

memory

surfaces,

so faint,

like shadows

from a dream

that evaporate

so quickly,

you turn

and they’re

gone,

and so brief

a breath

carries it

away

like broken

mist

as you stand

wondering

if the passing

moment

even exists.

What?! Incredible! That same thing happened to me this morning while I was preparing a breakfast of……..wait…That wasn’t me! Never mind! 😛

But to be serious…I’ve never read a more poetic OR precisely descriptive weirdness of the deja vu experience we’ve all had. But to be serious…I’ve never read a more poetic OR precisely descriptive weirdness of the deja vu experience we’ve all had. **hehe**

“Residual aura” is perfect, along with the rest of the poem.
