#281 of 365 – 4 Haiku

4 Haiku

she was getting good

outside her home jumping rope

caught in the crosshairs

death so early on

incomprehensible pain

of being left to die

his little soul, scorched

from his body, left alone

in his father’s car

do angels come to

relieve the pain of dying

for an unloved child?
