#296 of 365 – “sea foam”

“sea foam”

somewhere close

the heavens

breathe

and music sings

its slow

reprieve

where we step

from the darkness

into warm

sea foam

and tides

call the orphans

to splash free

and roam

away from sad air

filled with shadows

and pain

where angels

are fed scraps

that barely

sustain

the lighted

paths

over this ungodly

terrain
