#316 of 365 – 4 Haiku

4 Haiku

orange in the clouds

trying to stay later than

the sun is willing

my money spills out

evaporates like water

as I dance for rain

fine silver dust falls

away from transient dreams

of a scratch ticket

broken dried up leaves

tossed and splintered in the wind

soul of depression

Nicely crafted! Number two eludes me completely but the other three are thoroughly enjoyable! The “fine silver dust” — oh yes! Been there, done that! But not any more. We prefer eating!
