#332 of 365 – “talismans”

vague images

hard memories

like tears

wait for me

like thieves

come to swallow

up my years

but I have secrets

and armor

I can wear

with talismans

with prayer

so that the past

can bring

no atrophy of love

or light to bare

Oh WOW, isn’t this fine! I have “vague images” of blurred memories I only know because of “other things” that don’t make sense any other way. Love the beaded armor, gorgeous.

Yes. That is it…exactly Fig! Other things that don’t make sense unless the blurred images are what we think they are…and when we try to pretend/believe/act like they don’t mean anything, all those “other things” seem to become even more confusing. Thanks so much for being here!
